What makes it work
Set up your capture destinations once — a file for books, one for links, one for ideas. Each with its own emoji, format, and file.
Capture as a clean list item that adapts to whatever you share, or a block that keeps every piece of data. Build a custom format with tokens if you want. A live preview shows exactly what will land in your file.
Every capture is queued locally before syncing. If iCloud hiccups, your data waits safely until it can be written. No silent failures.
Different apps share data differently. AppendX strips tracking junk from URLs, finds real titles instead of bare hostnames, and recovers selected text even when apps bury it. What you meant to save is what gets saved.
